This photo was taken a few blocks from my old place in DC.  Over the weekend I kept thinking how wild it was that just a few hours south of here my friends’ lives were majorly interrupted by this giant snowstorm.  Meanwhile, life went on as usual up here and we barely had an inch. 

I’m thankful we’re not buried, but I want a snow day.
