Men: we mow lawns, drink from tumblers, and smell like musk. We shape our facial hair like our favorite actors. We shout at other men.
We like pulling things out of our wallets, especially money. We think of our mothers while treating women with respect.
When there’s a heavy thing to lift we grunt, but quietly. If there’s a jerk in the room we eye each other like, “can you believe this jerk?”
We do not know why undershirts get pit stains.
We want to do pull-ups on the subway, but don’t.
We never cry, except when we do, and it’s terrible.
We are men and we like improv. On Saturday, June 19, man-groups Johnny Cash Money and Reverse 5 will take testosterone and make testosteroneade at the People’s Improv Theater.
Johnny Cash Money features the brains behind LandlineTV and other cool projects. They host a monthly show at the Astoria Beer Garden and they are: Michael Antonucci, Paul Briganti, Jaime Castillo, Andrew Ford, and Chris Mann.
